In 2020, LCI Milano acquired Lumen Center, as a strategic step into the decorative lighting sector and the retail world.
Founded in France in 1929 under Jacques Adnet’s artistic direction, Lumen Center was shaped by French modernism and the fusion of art, design, and architecture. In 1976, his protégé Gilles Derain industrialized the vision with Lumen Center France. The brand took on new life in 1992 as Lumen Center Italia, merging French elegance with Italian craftsmanship.
This alliance brought together LCI’s architectural expertise and Lumen Center’s decorative soul — a union of precision, artistry, and craftsmanship that continues to shape luminous creations, entirely crafted in Italy.
